Caity Simon, Instructional Faculty
The daughter of two teachers, Caity has spent the last decade working in education. She is a founding member of the Teach St. Louis team and is deeply proud of the work residents, alumni and partner schools and districts are doing to deliver on the promise of public education in our community. She began her career as a middle school ELA teacher in the Mississippi Delta with Teach for America, and later worked as a curriculum developer and instructional coach for Achievement First in her hometown of New Haven, Connecticut. She is a graduate of Bard College, where she earned a degree in Political Studies and Human Rights, with a concentration in Gender and Sexuality studies.
