Rychinda Johnson, Instructional Faculty

A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Rychinda has worked in education for the past 12 years. Prior to joining the Teach St. Louis team, she taught in both traditional and charter schools. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Avila University and a Master of Science in Learning and Curriculum from the University of Missouri.

As a member of the team, Rychinda supports the development of effective instructional practices, cultivates the mindsets necessary for educators to be impactful within their school communities, and works collaboratively with participants, mentors, and school leaders to drive strong student outcomes in her role as instructional faculty.

Rychinda enjoys playing with her dog-son Midnight, going out to eat and Lego sets!
